The BISD Safety and Security Team has been named the 2026 Agency of the Year by the Texas Association of School Resource Officers, recognizing decades of collaboration between the district and the Boerne Police Department.

Dear Boerne ISD Community,

After monitoring the latest hour-by-hour forecast and in consultation with the National Weather Service, the weather forecast is shifting in a favorable direction.

In doing what is best for students, we are making every effort to responsibly honor our graduates on their home field, as is our pride and tradition. Safety is always our first priority.

Champion HS Ceremony Update
CHS will graduate this evening as originally planned.

Boerne HS Ceremony Update
We will continue to monitor the hour-by-hour weather forecast..

Should the favorable conditions hold, the ceremony will take place on the field as originally planned.

Should hazardous weather conditions arise, the ceremony will take place at Northside ISD Sports Gym.

We will confirm no later than 12 noon Friday.

All of the above options allow for our graduation ceremonies to be held on the dates our families originally planned for.

Please enjoy the ceremonies as we celebrate the Graduating Class of 2026!

Safety remains our top priority as we plan memorable ceremonies for our graduates and families.

Based on the latest forecast and in consultation with the National Weather Service, CHS and BHS ceremonies are planned as follows:

Champion HS Class of 2026 - DECISION PENDING
A decision for CHS graduation will be made no later than 12noon Thursday.
