Alamo Resource Conservation & Development Area Inc has established a Legacy Fund in the name of Joe & Sue Cantu. Joe was beloved by everyone. With his wife Sue by his side, they gave many years of service to make the Alamo RCD mission thrive. He was our Local Council founder and President and went on to serve as president of the Southern Association, and of our National RCD Association (from 1994 to 2004). Alamo RCD is honoring them both with a perpetual fund that will provide funding for their Alamo RCD mission legacy for many years to come.
❤️👍👍🌿🌿👍👍❤️
Every October (Joe’s birthday month) we ask that all of our donors give to the Alamo RCD Joe & Sue Cantu Legacy Fund to maintain their legacy of:
🔸Great agricultural productivity that brings food to your table and that of others!
🔸Rural Seniors living happy and healthy lives!
🔸Kids growing their own food in a home based garden!
🔸Youth working to better their communities by giving back through environmental and agricultural stewardship and a compassion for others!
🔸Neighbors Helping Neighbors in times of Community stress and local disasters!
🔸Rural communities that are vibrant and productive as they sustain the heart of our great nation!
❤️👍👍🌿🌿👍👍❤️
If you can find it in your heart, please give to Alamo RCD Area Inc. toward the Joe & Sue Cantu Legacy fund you can do so online at www.AlamoRCD.org or by mail. It is a great way to make the Cantu legacy live on.

Our Senior Assistance Program
NEEDS YOU.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
We provide good nutrition through our monthly PANTRY and economic assistance as well as socialization for area Seniors in and around Lakehills Texas in Bandera County.

Right now we have 274 registered Seniors over 55 in age, that need YOUR HELP.

It is getting harder and harder to get good nutritious foods, household cleansers, personal hygiene items and MORE to provide for the needs of our Seniors.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Many are living on less than $1000 in income per month and they also care for a disabled spouse, are suffering from illness themselves or care for grandchildren or a disabled sibling or child.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Please PLEASE DONATE FOOD ITEMS and more on your own THROUGH OUR AMAZON WISH LIST or deliver them to us on our Pantry Dates, or donate ONLINE so we can purchase more needed items.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
THE POWER OF YOU IS IN what you give.
Please become part of our caring community and give now.
Our Seniors are in need and all donations are greatly appreciated.
