Our Leadership Boerne class of 2027 had a blast on Wednesday during Session 2: NONPROFIT DAY! 💙

We kicked off the morning at Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries with a presentation, campus tour, and hands-on service project. Then, we fueled up with a delicious lunch from Panda Express!

Next, we visited Roy Maas Youth Alternatives for a campus tour and to learn more about their mission to support children who have experienced physical or emotional trauma. Through residential care, counseling, and other supportive programs, RMYA provides a safe environment where children can begin healing and work toward a brighter future.

The day continued at The Cibolo Center for Conservation with a presentation from their staff, a team-building activity, a presentation from The Community Foundation, and elevator pitches from several local nonprofits during Happy Hour. Each organization shared meaningful ways to get involved and make a difference in our community! 🌟

Nonprofit Day continues to be one of our favorite sessions of the year, and it's easy to see why!

A special thank you to Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country for being our Session Sponsor, and to Panda Express for being our Lunch Sponsor, Boerne Air Conditioning & Heating for being our Happy Hour Sponsor and Black R***e Coffee - Boerne, Texas for being our Coffee Sponsor!
