The San Antonio Business Journal recently published its profiles of 2026 Women’s Leadership Awards honorees Jennifer Latiolais, Chief Operating Officer at SEnergy, and Dr. Kristen Craft, Superintendent of Boerne ISD.

Both profiles highlight a common thread: a focus on developing people and preparing future leaders.

Jennifer shares how developing and implementing a companywide training program at SEnergy has helped create a stronger foundation for the organization and its future growth.

Dr. Craft discusses Boerne ISD's focus on intentional leadership development, mentorship and succession planning to build a pipeline of future campus and district leaders.

Eight awards in one night!

Congratulations to BKCEDC member The Lookout Group, the developer behind Esperanza, on an incredible showing at the 2026 Greater San Antonio Builders Association Summit Awards.

Among the eight honors was the night's top award, with The Lookout Group named Grand Developer.

A special congratulations to Austin Moran, Land Development Manager for The Lookout Group, who was named Project Manager of the Year!

Additional honors recognized the team for excellence in lifestyle programming, marketing, video, events, and community design.
