The Farmers Market at Herff Farm The Farmers Market at Herff Farm is more than just a market. Join us every Saturday (through mid-December) at the Farm!

We grow our own food at our 1 acre Teaching Garden to sell at the market and offer several classes on how to grow organically in the Hill Country. Herff Farm is the perfect Texas Hill Country destination for your Saturday! Located just a mile from Historic Downtown Boerne and 45 minutes from downtown San Antonio, the Farmers Market at Herff Farm is an open-air farmers market on the historic Herff Farm. You can buy products directly from local growers, ranchers, and crafters on a beautiful historic German farmstead in the Texas Hill Country. Explore our fenced gardens, pollinator meadow, and trails, and see the historic limestone Herff House. We have events and programs throughout the year during the market including outdoor adventures for young children, hikes, live music, and more! Visit https://cibolo.org/calendar for a full list of programming.

🍂 Plus, our free Creatures of the Night Nature Makers fall kickoff is happening in the Teaching Garden from 10:30am-12:30pm. Families can explore interactive stations throughout the garden to learn about nighttime critters from moth, bat, and owl professionals, and participate in hands-on activities like moth-making and an echolocation game!

Some sweet moments on the farm today as our Nest Students picked flowers and socialized with Morning Side Residents.

This is a preview of our new living wall in the Garden of Dreams at the Teaching Garden at Herff Farm. This space is designed to serve those who have mobility and cognitive issues including those who have experienced trauma. This sensory wall allows visitors to engage the senses with sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing. We are partnering with our community to offer healing through nature. We have also created accessible garden beds for guests in wheelchairs. Stay tuned for ongoing field trips to this magical space. We are honored to serve our community.
