Glass Etching 🍷

Known also as French embossing, we will use a modern method to create personalized etched piece. Choose from a pendant of colored glass or a functional piece like a w**e glass. Pick your design and make a ghostly glass piece of your very own!

It’s a time to get cozy and create something 🧶

Our autumn lineup of 2026 starts this Tuesday with Image Transfer!

From wood veneer marquetry to macrame weaving and glass etching, there’s something new to try this fall. Art AfterHours is a chance to get creative, meet people, and spend a couple of hours making something — without having to clean up the mess at home. 😉

Right here in Boerne. Affordable. Accessible. Beginner-friendly. And just plain fun.

Our new and improved screen frame is finished just in time! Thank you to everyone who has supported us through this journey. It’s been a blast and we’re excited to see everyone! Tomorrow is officially our film screening and the Orb Weaver ( + Sydney’s cat, Pepper) have taken over Before Your Eyes Interiors!

My collage features a Polaroid I took on Main Street as well as elements from our monthly newsletter. Macrame Weaving at Art AfterHours 💀🧶

A hybrid form of weaving and macrame. Using a support piece and warp yarns, we will build a design through a series of decorative knots. The finished piece can remain on the support or be used as a pliable textile piece for use in other applications such as a pillow or a purse.

Embossed Thermal Plastic!

Construct a decorative piece with heat reactive thermal plastics.

Using Lumiere mica paints and alcohol markers, we’ll add color and various stamps to create texture. The finished piece can be fashioned into jewelry pieces, ornaments or elements for mixed media.
