Part 3: Why to start a at your school?
Curt G. Campbell, P.E., LEED AP ND, CFM mentioned he & Colleen (middle school) turned evening TV time into a stretching & mobility session!
š Daddy-daughter bonding & much needed mobility work!
Curt got into Triathlon in a big way ( Texas last week was his 3rd) & Colleenās become use to making the podium in local races, so he invited her to stretch while watching TV
Colleen liked it so much she asked if she could start picking their routines!
I loved what Curt & Colleen were doing so much Iāve started asking Ens (8) to leave time before bed to get 10-15 min of stretching in -after reading & before brushing teeth
*Great wind-down time too!
Ens scrolls YouTube & finds a yoga / stretching / mobility video that looks fun
I have No IDEA what Iām doing, so I get laughed at by Ens A LOT, but thatās part of the fun AND Iām getting better!
When I started, I could barely touch my toes.
Now, I can put my knuckles flat on the floor while bending over & really close to getting my palms flat!
(Iām 54 š)
After a fun night of running, laughing & meeting neighbors, I invited Colleen to close us out with a favorite stretching routine & had Curt & Colleen share why they enjoy it so much.
Hopefully, you can see a trend developing.
