Ellen Randolph, Boca Raton Public Library manager from 2018- 2025, points to the leaf dedicated by the Friends in her honor on the Friends of the Library Giving Tree at the Spanish River Library. During her tenure as library manager, Ellen spearheaded many unconventional library projects, including the rollout of the library’s mobile van in 2020, the award-winning library Storywalk Trail project, with the first trail at Pondhawk Natural Area installed in 2021, and the library’s first Little Free Library in 2022, which now total eight LFLs across various Boca Raton public parks.
