y men to encourage its members to assume leadership roles in cultural, educational, religious, and charitable activities on the local, national and international levels for the betterment of the Armenian nation worldwide. The primary aims of the organization are: to champion the Armenian cause, to alleviate the suffering of the Armenian people, to ensure the safety of displaced Armenians by interceding with the leaders of the Christian world, and to train leaders to serve the religious, cultural, educational, and charitable needs of the Armenian people. Mission Statement
The Knights of Vartan is an international fraternal leadership and service organization of Armenian men dedicated to safeguarding and perpetuating the Armenian heritage and cultural traditions. It accomplishes its mission by (1) providing significant support to the Armenian community through national and international projects, as well as local lodge activities; (2) individual Knights assuming leadership roles in other Armenian organizations; and (3) brothers mentoring and networking with one another to strengthen the Armenian community.

I wouldn’t have posted this in our page if it weren’t for the work of our first Artsakhtsi beneficiary, Anahit.
Anahit Harutyunyan fled Artsakh with her two children, Victoria and Sergei, in September 2023, after her husband, Raffi, was killed on the frontlines in Martuni.
Our dedicated event held by the Knights of Vartan Hayasdan Lodge, in support of her family in June 2024 raised a total of $8,000, which contributed toward helping Anahid rebuild her wounded family’s new life in Yerevan, Armenia.

A COMMUNITY UNITED IN REMEMBRANCE.
On April 24, the world united to honor the 1.5 million Holy Martyrs lost during the Armenian Genocide of 1915.
We in the South Florida Armenian community and our friends came together in remembrance, prayer, and unity.
HONORING OUR PAST.
STRENGTHENING OUR FUTURE.
After the Church Service & Khachkar Prayer led by St. Mary and St. David Fathers De Vartan and Der Aved, we enjoyed Inspiring cultural performances
and the screening of my original short, "People of the Ark", advocating to end Genocide.
I can’t thank you enough for your relentless efforts.
The poetry from our youth-our future, the incredible performances, the recital, and the dances were all so inspiring.
Thank you for being part of this year’s special Remembrance Day.
Bringing our community together has such a unique taste.
Let’s keep at it. Kudos to all, and God bless you.

We hope you'll join us on Sunday, April 26th, as the Knights and Daughters of Vartan provide live coverage of the Armenian Genocide Commemoration Program in New York City's Times Square. The program will feature eloquent words from a host of invited guests and inspiring music from featured performers.
