In recognition of National Water Safety Month, members of the Rotary Club of Downtown Boca Raton were proud to partner with the YMCA of South Palm Beach County to bring Josh the Otter to preschoolers at the Peter Blum Family YMCA and the DeVos-Blum Family YMCA.

Through interactive storytelling, songs, and engaging activities, children learned important water safety lessons in a fun and memorable way. Thanks to our club’s partnership and support, each child also received their own Josh the Otter book to continue learning with their families at home.

Teaching water safety at an early age helps build confidence, awareness, and lifelong safe habits around the water — and we are honored to help support that mission in our community.
