Our incoming President Bob Tucker is representing the Rotary Club Downtown Boca Raton at the 2026 Rotary International Convention in Taipei, Taiwan.

The Rotary International Convention brings together more than 30,000 Rotary members and participants from over 120 countries to share ideas, celebrate service, build friendships, and explore innovative ways to create positive change around the world.

Held June 13–17 in Taipei, this global gathering showcases the incredible impact Rotary members are making through projects that promote health, education, peace, economic development, and environmental sustainability.

We are proud to have our club represented on the international stage and look forward to bringing back new ideas, inspiration, and connections to help strengthen our service in Boca Raton and beyond.

Highlights from latest Rotary Club of Downtown Boca Raton meeting.

Thank you to Mayor Andy Thomson for sharing updates on Boca Raton’s future and the continued growth of our city.

We also celebrated Arlene Herson on receiving the Rotary Foundation Major Donor Award and recognized our club’s achievement of earning three District Governor’s Gold Level Citations in Foundation, Membership, and Public Image.

A great meeting at the Rotary Club of Downtown Boca Raton.

We were honored to welcome Mayor Andy Thomson as our guest speaker. Mayor Thomson shared updates on Boca Raton’s continued growth, key initiatives, and his vision for the future of our city. His presentation provided valuable insight into where Boca Raton is headed and the opportunities ahead for our community.

We also celebrated Arlene Herson, who was recognized with the Rotary Foundation Major Donor Award in appreciation of her extraordinary commitment to Rotary’s mission and impact around the world. Congratulations, Arlene, on this well-deserved recognition.

In addition, we recognized club members whose efforts helped our club earn three District Governor’s Gold Level Citations:

A meaningful moment at the Faulk Center for Counseling’s annual Butterfly Release. 🦋

We were honored to attend the dedication of the Butterfly Garden, restored and beautified with the help of members of the Rotary Club of Downtown Boca Raton. A special thank you to Jonathan Price for unveiling the plaque recognizing our club’s service and support.

We are so appreciative to the Rotary Club Downtown Boca Raton for awarding CityHouse a grant in support of the mothers and children we serve.

Partnerships like this help provide safe housing, holistic care, mentorship, therapeutic support, life skills training, and hope for families working to break the cycle of homelessness.

Because of community partners like Rotary Club of Downtown Boca Raton, more families in South Florida will have the opportunity to stay together, heal, and build brighter futures.
