Last week , our middle school students took their first steps back into the classroom, eager to learn and grow despite the challenges around them. They inspire us every day with their commitment to education and their dreams for a brighter future.

To our students, families, and teachers facing tough circumstances in Cite Soleil, know that you are not alone. Together, we stand strong, and we believe that every day in school is a step toward hope and change.

📚 Exciting News: School is Back in Session! 🎉

Today, we’re thrilled to share that more than 2,000 students have returned to school that we proudly support in Haiti. Despite the challenging times, these young learners have shown incredible resilience and determination.

A special congratulations goes to our students who sat for official exams last year – every single one of our finalists passed, giving us an amazing 100% success rate! 🏆

Thank you to our dedicated teachers, supporters, and community for helping make this possible. Together, we’re creating a brighter future for these students, one day at a time. 🌟

Happy Women's Day!!

To celebrate our girls, here are some recent photos of our students laughing and enjoying their time at school!

We also want to share some facts about Haitian women:

- Women (ages 15+) in Haiti have a 58% literacy rate, compared to 65% for men.
- Many courageous women played a vital role in the Haitian Revolution, including Suzanne Béliar and Marie-Jeanne Lamartiniére (learn more on our site)
- In our Cite Soleil school, we have 1.2x more female students than male.
