Dancing Classrooms Southeast Florida Our mission is to build social awareness, confidence and self-esteem in children through the practice "pushing and pulling" as they create beauty together.

Dancing Classrooms uses a curriculum-based teaching approach to achieve social awareness and build self-esteem. Students are taught the vocabulary of various contemporary social dances in a classroom setting. Each class in the series introduces new steps, reinforcing what has been previously learned through practice and repetition. Our teaching philosophy is about tapping and developing the power

inside each child. While "arm in arm and eye to eye", students learn how they must first identify and harness their own power before connecting to others in socially appropriate ways. Dance becomes a metaphor for life as each child experiences the difference between "leading and following" vs.

Beyond the Armor is a non-profit organization created by a group of artists and activists who are passionate about spreading the message of world peace through art. On October 2, Dancing in Jaffa was screened to a sold-out house, followed by a Q&A with world dance champion and star of the film, Pierre Dulaine. Great screening, standing ovation!
