Celebrating Our Educators with Gratitude and Community Spirit!

The Daughters of Penelope Cassandra Chapter 372 was honored to deliver a special gift to Indian Pines Elementary School in Lake Worth in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week, beginning this coming Monday!

As part of our mission to uplift and support our local community, this small gesture was a heartfelt thank you to the incredible educators at Indian Pines. Their passion, dedication, and daily impact on students’ lives make a lasting difference—and deserve to be celebrated.

A sincere thank you to the administration and staff for the warm welcome and for all they do to shape future generations.

The DOP Ft. Lauderdale Fashion Show on 11/16 was a huge success! From stunning runway moments to incredible designs, the energy was unmatched. A big thank you to DOP and Saint Mark’s for bringing fashion, creativity, and style to life. We had an amazing time and can’t wait for the next one!

🌟 Celebrating Hellenic Culture and Community! 🌟

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at the Annual Daughters of Penelope Narcissus Chapter Fashion Show and Luncheon! It was a day filled with inspiring speeches, stunning fashion by G. Marie Boutique, traditional Greek costumes, and lively performances by the St. Demetrios Dancers.

This year, we were proud to support the Hellenic Cultural Society of South Florida, whose mission is to promote the richness of Greek culture through film, arts, and community initiatives, including the incredible South Florida Greek Film Festival.

Special thanks to our chapter president Erin Ryan, chairperson Mindy Speck-Wierzbicki, and all the amazing volunteers and sponsors who made this event a success. Together, we’re keeping Hellenic traditions alive while building cultural bridges for future generations.

Our Daughters of Penelope Cassandra Chapter 372 was honoured to have a speaker from Women in Distress Broward for the Domestic Violence Awareness Month, held annually in October. Emily Janas, Education and Prevention Manager Women in Distress Broward, gave an excellent presentation to our Chapter Members which took place at our October meeting. It is important to keep raising awareness about domestic violence and we as a Chapter plan to support some of their needs at the Women's center. Thank you to our Chapter President Rosey McPherson for organizing such a great meeting! And to all, you truly represent what Sisterhood means!

Congratulations to the President of Daughters of Penelope Cassandra Chapter 372 Rosey McPherson for one amazing first meeting for the newly elected board! We all know they will have one fabulous year supporting our local community and creating fellowship and bringing our Sisterhood to the next level. As we always like to recognize one of our Sisters for all of their dedication throughout of the years, we gave our Daughter of the Month recognition to Debbie Fread! Last but not least Assimo Kitsos has been sewing beautifully done blankets for mothers for Safe Heaven Newborns thanks to the generous donations of Helen Nicozisis!❤

Our Daughters of Penelope Cassandra Chapter 372 was very proud to deliver 150 composition books, 125 spiral notebooks and 50 packs of pencils all of them for their 3rd grade classes. Thank you Sisters for the amazing work! All of the donations were delivered to Indian Pines Elementary School which is very close to our heart. The smiles of the students tells it all!
