Kindness Matters 365 (KM365) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to supporting the emotional growth and well-being of children and teens.

Kindness Matters is on a mission to equip youth with the skills of kindness, resilience, empathy, and optimism. 🌍✨

Together, we’re creating a global movement where kindness isn’t a one-time action, but a way of being. 💛 Since 2008, our programs have helped tens of thousands of kids transform from feeling worthless to worthy, isolated to included, fearful to empowered, intolerant to kind. With over 100 programs nationwide, KM365 helps kids to develop resilience, empathy, and the skillset to purposefully contribute to society and care for themselves, one another, and our world.

Kindness Starts With Mahj has moved to Monday, December 7th. We’re bringing the same afternoon to the holiday season: tiles, a curated lunch, prizes, and a room full of people playing for a good cause.

After every educator training, we ask the people in the room what they actually experienced. And the responses keep affirming what we already believe, that when educators are equipped with the right tools, everything shifts.

94% left with practical strategies they can use immediately. 96% said the training deepened their understanding of how kindness directly impacts student mental health.

These are not just numbers. They are classrooms changing. 💛

When educators are equipped, everything shifts 🤍

Last week our team brought kindness to Jewish Family Services, Alexander Montessori, and Freedom Shores Elementary, leading staff trainings and a student assembly designed to build the skills that regulate, connect, and empower.

Because when the adults in the room feel supported, students feel it too!

Happy Dolly Parton Day🤍

Today we honor a woman who proved that kindness, generosity, and showing up for others never goes out of style. Through her Imagination Library alone, Dolly gifted more than 332 million books to children and families across five countries, all because she believed every child deserved access to the magic of reading.

But it was more than the programs and the philanthropy. it was the way she moved through the world. She once said: “I just think people need to be better to each other. It doesn’t take that much time to be kind.

Everyone has the capacity for good 🌈

When we look at a chair, we tend to focus on the biggest, most visible parts. We often do the same thing with people. We notice mistakes, challenges, or behaviors that stand out. Sometimes we overlook the strengths, goodness, and potential that exist beneath the surface.

Just like every screw plays an important role in holding the chair together, every person has something valuable to contribute. Sometimes that goodness is obvious. Sometimes it takes encouragement, support, and connection to help it shine.

Last week, our team paused 🤍

Not to slow down but to look up, look ahead, and ask ourselves: how do we take everything we have built and make it even bigger, even deeper, even more impactful?

For the start of our new fiscal year, our team gathered for a strategic retreat to come together as a virtual team, align on our vision, and plan for the years ahead.

We talked about where we are going, how we are getting there, and what it means to continue spreading kindness across classrooms, communities, and continents. 🌍
