JOIN US FOR A GREAT 26/27 SEASON WITH THE BGCC!!!

The BGCC is pleased to announce an exciting new season for 2026/2027 with a series of guest
speakers. This year meetings will resume in the Boca Grande Community Center (room to be
announced) on Tuesdays at 10:00 am, as well as on zoom. Our scheduled activities include:
Tuesday, November 17 th - “What I did Last Summer” - members submit photos for a slide show.
Tuesday, December 8 th - Wildlife Photography – presented by renowned wildlife photographer
and safari director, Suzi Eszterhas.
Tuesday, January 5 th - “From Your Camera to the ‘Art of Photography’ “- presented by Crystal
Barrett of Artistic Photo Canvas/Lux Prints.
More speakers and activities will soon be announced.
The BGCC is open to people of all levels of experience who are interested in the ever-changing
world of photography.

The BOCA GRANDE CAMERA CLUB is pleased to announce a presentation on basic
astrophotography by commercial photographer, Larry McNiff, on April 7 th . The presentation will
begin at 10:00 am in the Crowninshield house, 240 Banyan street, as well as via zoom. Larry will
share his astrophotography experiences and discuss various equipment from standard cameras
and lenses to the more complex telescopes with dedicated, cooled astro cameras. The
presentation also highlights basic techniques, ways to find specific objects in the night sky and
creative ways to get the most out of capturing astro images. He will talk about the best types
of cameras, lenses and tripods plus camera settings needed to take beautiful night sky photos.

Please join us on the 17th for this interesting and informative meeting. Larry will be giving us a photography assignment to keep us using our cameras over the summer. New members are welcome!

THE NEVER ENDING QUEST FOR THE PERFECT PICTURE!!

The Boca Grande Camera Club presents renowned commercial and portrait photographer, Larry McNiff on Tuesday, March 17th at 10am at the Crowninshield house, 240 Banyan Street, as well as via zoom.
Larry will begin with a review and video of the Camera Club’s recent show – “The Art of Photography”. He will then present a talk entitled – “The Power of Personal Photography Projects” where he will discuss how the quest for that perfect picture keeps the camera in use and hones your skills as a photographer.
Larry is a PPA Certified Photographer whose career includes photographing Grammy nominated musicians, Emmy winners, dancers, authors and actors. Larry’s work has been published both domestically and internationally, including Professional Photographer Magazine – www.stimages.media
