Almost everyone has a camera in the palm of their hand in today’s world. The Boca Grande Camera Club focuses on the idea that the best camera is the one you have with you! The Boca Grande Camera Club welcomes people of all levels of experience who are interested in the ever changing world of photography. BGCC members span the spectrum from beginner to professional phot

ographers, who meet to learn and improve, collaborate, and display their photography. Exceptional speakers, composition and creative ideas, workshops and field trips will be on the schedule along with a half-day member workshop. Mentoring and Community Involvement play an important part in the BGCC and our members are encouraged to assist our local Boca Grande clubs and groups. Eleven regular Tuesday morning meetings are scheduled in the fall/winter season. Additionally, on March 4-6, 2022 the BGCC presents The Art of Photography Show at the Boca Grande Art Center. The BOCA GRANDE CAMERA CLUB is pleased to announce a presentation on basic
astrophotography by commercial photographer, Larry McNiff, on April 7 th . The presentation will
begin at 10:00 am in the Crowninshield house, 240 Banyan street, as well as via zoom. Larry will
share his astrophotography experiences and discuss various equipment from standard cameras
and lenses to the more complex telescopes with dedicated, cooled astro cameras. The
presentation also highlights basic techniques, ways to find specific objects in the night sky and
creative ways to get the most out of capturing astro images. He will talk about the best types
of cameras, lenses and tripods plus camera settings needed to take beautiful night sky photos.

· The Power of Personal Photography Projects – presented by Larry McNiff. BGCC Facilitator and PPA Certified Photographer. Larry’s photography career includes photographing Grammy nominated musicians, Emmy winners, dancers, authors and actors. Larry’s work has been published both domestically and internationally, including Professional Photographer Magazine. – www.stimages.media

Please join us on the 17th for this interesting and informative meeting. Larry will be giving us a photography assignment to keep us using our cameras over the summer. New members are welcome!

THE NEVER ENDING QUEST FOR THE PERFECT PICTURE!!

The Boca Grande Camera Club presents renowned commercial and portrait photographer, Larry McNiff on Tuesday, March 17th at 10am at the Crowninshield house, 240 Banyan Street, as well as via zoom.
Larry will begin with a review and video of the Camera Club’s recent show – “The Art of Photography”. He will then present a talk entitled – “The Power of Personal Photography Projects” where he will discuss how the quest for that perfect picture keeps the camera in use and hones your skills as a photographer.
Larry is a PPA Certified Photographer whose career includes photographing Grammy nominated musicians, Emmy winners, dancers, authors and actors. Larry’s work has been published both domestically and internationally, including Professional Photographer Magazine – www.stimages.media
