Respect First Responders (R1R.org) is a nonprofit organization created to help First Responders with safety equipment & resources during natural disasters and major events. The founder of R1R.org, Peter Kirvin is a 22-year veteran with Boca Grande Fire Department and owner of Fire Ninja Safety Equipment. Fire Ninja has been donating safety supplies to those in need since 2017. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Peter started R1R.org to overcome supply chain issues, acquire resources and get safety equipment to where it was needed most. R1R is partnering with the Boca Grande Fire Dept. and local businesses within the Fire District to raise money for those that put their lives on the line for others. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to the Boca Grande Firefighters Association.

The Boca Grande Firefighters have been working hard with Hurricane Ian recovery. We are currently accepting donations for our local firefighters and 1st Responders that have taken on storm damage to their homes.
