• Firefighters have collected critical funds in the community since 1954 – one dollar at a time – as part of the Fill the Boot program for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Boaz Professional Firefighters Association will continue this tradition as its members kick off the annual program raising funds to support groundbreaking research for promising treatments and therapies and provide families with the highest quality care from the best doctors and medical teams in the country.

• Dedicated firefighters will hit the streets in the community with boots in hand asking pedestrians, motorists, and other passersby to donate to MDA on September 6th and 7th at the intersection of Hwy 168 and 205. Come out and see us!

• Every time you put a dollar in a boot, you are empowering children and adults living with neuromuscular disease. Stop by and Fill the Boot to show your support!
