🌟If you’ve ever been to the Amazon with us, you know Eoli. She’s our missionary on the river—serving alongside Brazilian pastors, sharing the gospel with unreached groups, and making sure discipleship is happening long after the boat pulls away.

I met her on my very first trip to Brazil. She told me she didn’t speak any English… but I’m not so sure. 😄

She’s a force, a joy, and a huge part of the Amazon Hope family.

Sometimes love looks like sitting on a concrete floor with kids and letting them put stickers on your face. 🫶

Our teams are along the Amazon River through October, and they're not there to have an experience. They're there to be Jesus—with thankful hands and tired feet and hearts wide open. ❤️

We partner with local churches in Brazil to deliver medical, dental, eye care, and other critical services. What does serving with Amazon Hope look like? It might be staying late to hold a crying child. It means learning someone's name and remembering it. It is showing up with medicine and leaving with the profound understanding that you were the one who was healed.

The kids in these photos aren't mission projects. They're image bearers. And when our teams look into their eyes, they're seeing the face of Christ.

Jesus said the world would know we're his disciples by our love. Not by our programs or our strategies or our good intentions. By our LOVE. These communities along the Amazon are teaching us what that looks like—love that crosses oceans, love that learns new languages, love that gets its hands dirty.

This is the gospel with skin on. This is what it means to follow Jesus into the margins, into the forgotten places, into the arms of people who matter deeply to God.

Pray for our teams. That they'd love well. That they'd see clearly. That they'd be his hands and feet in every moment that matters. 🙏
