Thanks to Mel Grunau for sharing his thoughts and methods with members of the MVWS last night. It was fun to watch him create an abstract collage.

Here are some pics of Mel, of the collage he created, and of a smaller work--he brought lots for us to look at.

A big thank you to Noreen Yazvac for her demo at the MVWS last night. Noreen did a lpainting of an iris to demonstrate the use of hot press watercolor paper. As you can see, the finished painting turned out beautifully.
