Sometimes, success means watching them leave sooner than we expected. ❤️

When Bonnie came to Moab House, our hope was to walk alongside her as we prepared her for independent living. We thought we'd have more time together, but Bonnie had a dream of her own. She wanted to move back to her hometown, closer to family, and have an apartment of her very own.

And that's exactly what she did! 🏡

Bonnie recently moved out of Moab House and into her own apartment. She's so happy to have a little place to call her own, and we're happy for her!

But independent living comes with challenges, especially when you're just getting started.

During a recent conversation, Bonnie mentioned that she didn't have much food in her apartment. So, we stepped in this afternoon and sent her $250 worth of groceries and household supplies to help stock her kitchen.

Because here's what we want every young adult who comes through our doors to understand: Just because you leave Moab House doesn't mean you stop being part of our family. ❤️

We're currently fundraising for Danny and his needs, and we want to continue supporting that effort. But we also wanted to share Bonnie's story and give our community an opportunity to help us respond to needs like hers as they arise.

Our mission doesn't end when our MYAs move out. Sometimes, that's when the lessons of independent living really begin.

🥊 SO excited to finally share the big news!! Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini and his wife Tina have chosen Moab House to be the recipient of the proceeds for this years “Fight Night!”

What an incredible blessing to have people like Ray and Tina, supporting Moab House!

When they heard about us, they took the time to come visit the house. We absolutely loved sitting with them that day, sharing our mission, and getting to know them. They are genuinely wonderful people, and their kindness, generosity, and hearts for helping others left such an impression on us.

💙 Meet Wanda, a Moab House HAND Volunteer and founder of Comfort & Hope!

At our recent Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, we were honored to recognize Wanda with our 2026 Holy Cannoli! HAND Volunteer pin!

Through Comfort & Hope, Wanda has made it her mission to ensure our young adults feel loved, celebrated, and remembered on their birthdays.

Wanda, thank you to you and your team for the love and thoughtfulness you pour into our young adults. You are a blessing to the Moab House family!

🍝 Holy Cannoli… did we have a good time!
Our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner came together with a little creativity, a lot of cannoli-inspired fun, and some AMAZING food.
We loved putting together a night that felt special for the people who spend so much of their time making Moab House special. And a huge part of that was the incredible food donated by local restaurants and businesses!
