🌙☘️ ’TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE THE FESTIVAL☘️🌙
’Twas the night before the festival,
and all through the grounds,
the tents were standing ready
for tomorrow’s sights and sounds.
The stages were waiting,
the banners hung with care,
with the hope that by morning
the craic would fill the air.
The fiddles were resting,
the dancers tucked in tight,
while pipers and musicians
prepared for their spotlight.
The Celtic Furnace waited,
soon filled with smells so grand—
Shepherd’s Pie and Reubens,
and Bangers close at hand.
The vendors packed their treasures,
the volunteers did too,
while months of preparation
were finally coming through.
Tomorrow friends and families
will gather side by side,
to celebrate our heritage,
our community and pride.
For this is more than music,
more than dancing, food and cheer—
it’s keeping Irish traditions
alive from year to year.
So tonight we close the gates
on all the work we’ve done…
Because when tomorrow morning comes,
THE CRAIC HAS BEGUN. 🇮🇪☘️
