And just like that, we’re closing the chapter on Black Philanthropy Month. 🖤💗

Pass the Mic gave us a chance to sing, laugh, connect, give back, and celebrate what happens when community shows up for community. 🎤

To every person who attended, donated, shared, partnered, volunteered, grabbed the mic, stepped into our photo booth, or simply helped spread the word — thank you.

But the event was never the end of the story.

Our mentors and mentees are getting back to the work, and we can’t wait to show you what’s next for Pretty Powerful. 💗

Because apparently… pouring back, showing up, and investing in her is kinda chic. 💅🏾

What happens when a girl knows someone is genuinely in her corner? 💗

She starts speaking differently about herself.
She starts seeing more possibilities.
She starts realizing she doesn’t have to figure everything out alone.

Our mentees can tell the Pretty Powerful story better than we ever could. 🎤

As we enter the final day of Black Philanthropy Month, there’s still time to pour back. Our Midlands Gives fundraiser ends tomorrow, August 31, and every gift helps us continue creating mentorship, experiences, and spaces where girls feel supported, encouraged, and seen.

Listen to her. Share her story. Then help us make sure another girl gets this same kind of support.

Why we keep showing up.

Because when she feels seen, supported, and encouraged, she has more room to become everything she’s capable of being.
