Building a better community by lending a helping hand!

Mississippi County Community Foundation is a proud supporter of Blytheville Community Samaritan Ministry. During the 2025 Giving Tree Grant cycle, this organization was awarded $1,000 plus a $1,000 Early Literacy Match to support their summer learning initiative. With the help of volunteers, students are treated to six weeks of learning, crafts, games, and meals. In addition to the summer learning program, BCSM is also a fully functioning soup kitchen, offering meals to those in need Tuesday-Friday from 11:30-12:30 at 534 Maple Street and is designated as a Resiliency Hub for the city of Blytheville, in partnership with the American Red Cross.
