The Dolphins concluded their season with the 2026 IVSL Championship Meet last Saturday. They showed off their long season of hard work and new skills with some incredible performances, including 40 new PRs! Great effort all around.

Top swims included:

Jovi Calabrese (Girls 6 & Under) - 6th in the 25 Yard Breaststroke

Addison Crawford (Girls 7-8) - 6th in the 25 Yard Backstroke, 6th in the 25 Yard Breaststroke

Brianna Guzman (Girls 7-8) - 3rd in the 25 Yard Breaststroke

Elijah Louder (Boys 13-14) - 1st in the 50 Yard Backstroke, 4th in the 50 Yard Freestyle

Julia Lynch (Girls 15-18) - 6th in 50 Yard Backstroke

Olivia Rodriguez (Girls 7-8) - 6th in 25 Yard Freestyle

Owen Rusk (Boys 6 & Under) - 6th in the 25 Yard Freestyle, 5th in the 50 Yard Freestyle

Nova Sandoval (Girls 7-8) - 5th in the 25 Yard Freestyle, 6th in the 50 Yard Freestyle

Makenzy Selph (Girls 11-12) - 1st in the 50 Yard Butterfly, 1st in the 50 Yard Backstroke, 3rd in the 50 Yard Breaststroke, 2nd in the 50 Yard Freestyle, and 1st in the 100 Yard IM

Makenzy Selph was also named the Girls 11-12 Age group High Point Award winner with 93 points!

The Dolphins traveled to Brawley twice in the last week to attend their ABC Invitational and face them head-to-head last Saturday and this Tuesday.

Dolphins earned 39 PRs at their invitational and four swimmers won random heat-winner prizes: Olivia Rodriguez, Jacob Vargas, Temple Herron, and Owen Rusk. Special congratulations to Elijah Louder and Makenzy Selph who made the high-point list for their age groups!

At the Tuesday meet, Dolphins earned 32 PRs and received many heat-winner prizes. Great work Dolphins!

On a scorching 116 degree day, the Dolphins hosted their final home meet of the season last Thursday. However, the weather wasn’t the only thing burning up the pool… The Dolphins left with 63 new best times, raced in new challenging events, and took home many heat winner rubber duckies!
