Bluffton, we heard you loud and clear. ❤️ After listening to our amazing community, neighbors, and donors, the Historic Bluffton Foundation has officially reversed its decision: WE ARE NOT SELLING THE HEYWARD HOUSE!

This property is the heart of our town, and keeping it means we're in this together. To keep our museum thriving and expand our programs, we need your help!

Heads up! 📣

The Heyward House Museum will be closing early today at 1:30 PM as we prepare to host our Historic Bluffton Foundation Members Social.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we spend the afternoon celebrating the members whose support helps preserve Bluffton's history.

We'll resume our regular business hours tomorrow. We look forward to seeing you then! 🏡💙

The response from our community has been incredible, and because of the overwhelming interest, we’ve expanded our attendance capacity!

Haven’t RSVP’d yet? There’s still time.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Bring the kids for a chance to meet one of America’s Founding Fathers, ask questions, and interact with renowned living history interpreter Greg Robin Smith as Benjamin Franklin.

🍧 No kids? No problem! Come enjoy some of the best popsicles in the Lowcountry from Palmetto Pops, snap a photo with Ben, and experience history face-to-face.
