Our Troop
Troop SC-1412 is a growing a thriving ministry of Community Bible Church, Bluffton campus. We have a great bunch of volunteers with a variety of experience and all are dedicated to sharing Christ and the outdoors with these young men. This is a very exciting time to be part of Trail Life as it is such a new organization itself, being only 5 years old. The troop meets at 6:30pm on the first and third Tuesday every month at the MRS hut in Bluffton, off Confederate Avenue. There are three components to the Troop; Woodlands, Navigators, and Adventurers. The Woodlands are young men grades K-5. The Navigators are grades 6 - 8 and the Adventurers are grades 9-12. The Troop is boy led, having the older boys in charge of several troop functions and learning to walk to Christ in every thing they do daily. This ministry is just as rewarding for the adult leadership as it is for the youth and I am humbled to be a part of it.
