On September 22 Beaufort Country meet with Alljoy Residents to give an update on all the on going projects in the AJPC Zoning Area - Matt Krause with BC Public Works will be posting updates on the Beaufort County Connect App under Alljoy Community Updates -
Below is a photo of the proposed Boat Ramp project ( there was a couple of changes discussed at meeting , especially the changing the location of the restroom) Public works has also put some rift raft rocks to help with erosion in beach area.
The Alljoy Preservation Commission spoke at the meeting and we are happy to announce that we now have a permanent meeting place at the Marine Rescue Squad Hut on Confederate Ave — Continue to follow us for Meeting Reports , Times and other community involvement. There has been a lot of questions and concerns about all the projects going on in the Alljoy Preservation Zoning Area which starts on Burnt Church Rd to The Alljoy Boat Ramp including Ulmer Rd , Confederate Ave , Myrtle Island Rd to bridge and Pine Island Rd to causeway-if you are a resident of this area or a concerned citizen ,and want to have an update on the projects please attend this meeting with Beaufort County on Sept 22 at 5:00 - Bluffton Library.🌎

Beaufort County has called a meeting for September 22/ 2026 at 5:00pm at the Bluffton Library to discuss ongoing projects in the AJPC Area ( The AJPC zoning area is from Burnt Church Rd to Alljoy Boat-ramp, including Ulmer Rd , Confederate Ave , Myrtle Island Rd to the bridge and Pine Is Rd to Causeway, but we highly encourage all interested in the area to attend .
Beaufort County is also looking for Poll Workers for the November Election.
The Annual Beach Sweep will be held in Bluffton on September 19th🌎

🌎AJPC Monthly Notes🌎.
August 2026
July was a very busy time for our community with July 4th and the wonderful fireworks that was provided for all to see . Then the groundbreaking of the BJWSA sewage project ( and section 2 of the project is being planned) The DNR removed 3 sailboats from the MayRiver, the bill passed by the governor this year to allow this project has been very successful and the state also passed a bill to lower Boat taxes especially on large vessels.
The AJPC and Beaufort County is working on a date in September for the updates on the boat ramp and other issues, please keep an eye on the AJPC page for more info about meeting. 🌎@
