Lowcountry Dress for Success started in the Spring of 2014 when a group of friends heard that our area schools were in need of uniforms for children whose families could not afford them. A unique uniform drive was hosted for two weeks where donors could give and choose how their money was spent! In that short period of time, enough funds were raised to purchase 244 polo shirts, 170 pairs of shorts

and 50 packs of underwear! The lowcountry proved to be a community of generous people, so the group of friends dreamt BIG. They applied to be a non profit organization and are now working on their 501c3 tax exemption status! Dress for Success will continue to host uniform drives throughout the school year to help clothe these students in need.
