To our friends out there in the waiting...

To our friends out there in the waiting...

To the one longing for a child this Easter…

I know you’ve seen the Easter baskets in the grocery stores. I know you’ve heard about the egg hunts and walked slowly past the little dresses, the bonnets, the tiny ties.

And I know that when you did… it probably hurt.
Maybe just a little. Maybe more than you expected.

Because each one can bring back moments.

Moments where you sat on the bathroom floor holding another negative pregnancy test. Moments when you heard the words, “There is no heartbeat.” Moments when something inside of you broke as your dreams seemed to slip just out of reach.

And on a day that’s meant to feel full of life… those moments can feel even louder.

But friend… the one longing and hurting today… I want to gently remind you of something.

Easter didn’t begin as a celebration.
It began in what looked like loss.

Before there was an empty tomb… There was a sealed one.
Before resurrection… There was a moment when everything felt over.

And yet… that wasn’t the end of the story.

Jesus rose.

And that moment didn’t just change history… it revealed what God is like.

He is the One who brings life where there was none.
The One who moves in places that feel final.
The One who is not limited by what we see or feel.

So even here… even now…

Your story is not outside of His reach.

So hold on, sweet friend. I know it hurts today.

But don’t close the door on what God can still do.

With all my love,
Elisha 🤍
