🙏 URGENT PRAYER REQUEST — NEPAL 🇳🇵
A dear brother and friend of the VOHM family who serves in ministry in Nepal reached out to us with a heartbreaking update. We want to invite our VOHM family to stand with him and our brothers and sisters in Nepal in prayer.
Devastating flooding and landslides have struck along Nepal’s northern border with Tibet, severely impacting communities and churches in the region.
Within the network of churches connected to our friend’s ministry, at least 116 believers are currently confirmed dead or missing — 30 confirmed dead and 86 still missing. Ten churches have been directly affected, with church buildings damaged or destroyed and pastors, believers, and entire families among those still unaccounted for.
At one church alone, approximately 50 believers are missing. Reports from another church indicate that the pastor may be the only survivor from his congregation.
There are also personal friends and family members connected to the ministry who remain missing, leaving families waiting, grieving, and hoping for news.
These aren’t simply numbers. These are our brothers and sisters in Christ. They are pastors, church members, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, and friends.

🙏 For wisdom as ministry leaders assess the needs and determine how best to help

Our dear brother plans to travel to Nepal in September to be with the churches and help determine how they can best come alongside those affected. Please pray for wisdom, protection, and the Lord’s direction as he prepares to go.
