🌞 We’ve switched over to summer!

If you’re in need of summer clothing, shoes, or bathing suits, you’re welcome to come in and see what we have available for your little ones.

We’re open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 AM to 1 PM.

For car seats, there is a short application to fill out. You’ll need your child’s current weight and height, so before coming, please take those measurements or call your doctor for the most recent information.

We are so thankful for the Community Foundation of the Virginias, Inc. for providing these car seats to our clients!

We’re planning for our 2026 Community Baby Shower & looking for vendors to provide resource information to moms! If your organization would like to host a table or make a donation , contact Tonya at 681-282-5169! All registered moms will receive one large safety item.

Registration for expecting/new moms is underway! Call to register. Prior registration is required.

We are always so thankful for the generosity of our community and the many people who want to support the work we do at Mary’s Cradle. ❤️

Unfortunately, when we arrived this morning we found a large amount of items left outside the building over the weekend. Because we are not in the office between Thursday and Monday, donations left outside during that time are exposed to weather and animals. Sadly, when this happens we are unable to distribute the items to families and they often must be thrown away.

We kindly ask that donations are only brought during our open hours so we can ensure they go directly to the infants and children we serve.

We would also like to remind everyone that Mary’s Cradle accepts donations for infants and children only. We are unable to accept household items or items for adults.

If you have household goods or adult items to donate, we encourage you to consider organizations such as the Bluefield Union Mission, Goodwill or other local charities that are able to receive those donations.

We truly appreciate the heart behind every donation and the desire to help families in our community. Thank you for helping us make sure every gift can be used to bless the children we serve. 💛

✨ 2026 CALENDAR OF KINDNESS ✨

What is the Calendar of Kindness?

This campaign is designed to help us keep our Layette Room stocked with essential supplies for our Newborn Layette baskets.

Each basket is filled with clothing from newborn to 3 to 6 months, diapers, wipes, hygiene items for new moms and infants, blankets, bottles, and all the essentials needed for the first few weeks of a new baby’s life.

When a group adopts a month, they collect items throughout that entire month and donate everything at the end. It’s a simple but powerful way to make a big impact for local families.

Our goal is to have 2 sponsors for each month and we need a lot of help to get there!

Churches, businesses, schools, classrooms, sports teams, clubs, organizations, or any group with a heart to help the tiniest and most precious members of our community, we would love to partner with you.

Mary’s Cradle will be closed Monday, February 23rd!

If Mercer County Schools are closed, Mary’s Cradle is Closed.

If Mercer County Schools are on a 2 hour delay, Mary’s Cradle will open at 10am.

Every year, groups, churches, classrooms, businesses, and families choose a month to collect much-needed baby items for Mary’s Cradle. It’s such a simple way to make a BIG difference for local moms and babies. 💛

We would love to fill every month on our calendar, but right now, we’re especially hoping someone will step up to adopt March since we’re getting a bit of a late start.
