We’re excited to announce that The Young Civic will serve as the official Livestream & Video Partner of the 2026 Manteca Civic Forum, hosted by the Interact Club of Manteca. 🎥

The forum will be livestreamed on The Young Civic page and YouTube Channel at The Young Civic, making it easier for members of our community to watch, stay informed, and hear directly from the candidates.

Following the forum, the full unedited video will also be posted on The Young Civic YouTube Channel, along with clips, highlights, and additional coverage.

We’re grateful to partner with The Young Civic to help expand access to the forum and make local civic engagement more accessible, especially for young people and first-time voters.

The RSVP and audience question form is officially open for the 2026 Manteca Civic Forum, hosted by the Interact Club of Manteca.

This event is FREE and open to the public, and all seven candidates running in the following races are confirmed to participate:

We want the questions asked at this forum to come from the community.

Residents are encouraged to submit questions for the candidates through the RSVP form. Submitted questions will be reviewed and screened for relevance, fairness, clarity, and appropriateness before being considered for the forum. Questions may be edited for length or clarity, and submission does not guarantee that a question will be asked.

The Interact Club of Manteca is a youth-led, nonpartisan organization. We do not endorse or oppose any political party, candidate, or campaign. Our goal is to create a fair, respectful space where Manteca residents, especially young people and first-time voters, can hear directly from the candidates and become more engaged in local government.

What an incredible evening! 💙🕊️

Last Friday, the Interact Club of Manteca was honored to officially unveil and dedicate our Peace Pole at Rotary Plaza.

This project was envisioned and led by our inaugural Board of Directors as a lasting symbol of hope, unity, and our shared commitment to building a more peaceful community.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this special milestone. We are especially grateful to the Rotary Club of Manteca and the City of Manteca for believing in our vision and partnering with us to make this project a reality.

Special thanks to our amazing Interact Club Advisors, Monica Cabrera and Dr. John Trueb, for their unwavering guidance and support throughout this journey.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to San Joaquin County Supervisor Sonny Dhaliwal, Katie Jaycox from Congressman Josh Harder's Office, and Gary Prost from State Senator Jerry McNerney's Office, as well as Manteca City Councilmembers Charlie Halford and Mike Morowit, for joining us as dignitaries and supporting youth leadership and community service.

May this Peace Pole serve as a daily reminder that peace begins with each of us. Together, we can create a kinder, stronger, and more united Manteca.

Join us for the Peace Pole Ribbon Cutting & Unveiling Ceremony on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Rotary Plaza on North Maple Avenue in Manteca.

The Peace Pole is a symbol of hope and goodwill, bearing the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in eight different languages. Together, we will dedicate this permanent reminder of our shared commitment to building a more peaceful and compassionate community.

This project has been made possible through a partnership between the City of Manteca, the Rotary Club of Manteca, and the Interact Club of Manteca.

Thank you to everyone who attended our first ever Interact Gala! We appreciate all the support and encouragement and cannot wait to continue reaching for the stars. 🤍
