There are a couple of dogs running around Stonebridge (off 2nd street) and the golf course today, just in case you’re missing your pets. Animal Control has been alerted as of about 11 am today, 8.30.26, and will be sending someone out.

A dark grey small dog was found this evening 7.25.26) on NE. 2nd St in the Stonebridge subdivision. If you are missing a puppy, the people who found it are asking for a photo to prove the dog is yours. Thank you.

Hi everyone! Just a friendly reminder that July 4th is right around the corner. We’ve already received a few complaints about fireworks and other loud explosions occurring throughout the neighborhood. Many of these incidents have been happening later in the evening, when some residents need to be asleep for work the next day and many children are already in bed.

Please be responsible when using fireworks and be considerate of your neighbors, young children, pets, and others in the Stonebridge community. Your cooperation helps keep our neighborhood safe, enjoyable, and respectful for everyone.

We received the following message from a homeowner this week, asking about the goose couple, Fred and Wilma, that usually raise a family at our pond. If anyone has any information them, it would be appreciated. Thanks!

“Hello neighbors,
I’m sure many of you have noticed the sweet goose couple Fred and Wilma that returns to our front pond this year to nest and raise their babies. Up until last month, they were always together, side by side.
However, for the past few weeks, I’ve only spotted one goose by the water, looking a bit lonely.
They really feel like a part of our neighborhood family, and I can't help but worry about them. I wanted to reach out and see if anyone has seen the other one nearby, or if anyone happens to know if they are okay?
I truly hope they are both safe and that everything is fine. Thank you all so much, and have a wonderful week!”

Reminder to Stonebridge residents TODAY is our Annual Dumpster Day. From 9:00 a.m. to noon, at the corner of Eastwood and Eastwood Court. Come see us and get rid of all of your unwanted junk. Please be sure your current on your HOA dues. You can pay us with check at the dumpster!

Reminder: Stonebridge annual neighborhood garage sales, Wednesday June 3-Saturday, June 6! We will be advertising on local garage sale sites and putting up signs at the entrances to our subdivision. 🪧🤑👍

FYI: For those of you who may have noticed, a contractor for the city of Blue Springs posted a sign with a QR code on NE 3rd and Duncan Rd that points to this website:

On that page, the city is advising that there will be construction completed soon  on a number of streets in our neighborhood. (Attaching a screenshot of those streets-see first comment).

They are also letting us know the following information:

"Door hangers will be distributed to each residence 24–48 hours before work begins. Residents may experience limited access to their driveways at times, depending on the work being performed."
