Much gratitude to those parents who have signed up to monitor the Bounce House tomorrow at the Block Party: Hu Ji, Jessica Brewer and Jacob Phillips. We are grateful for your help 😍

However, that leaves 2 half-hour shifts that are not covered: 4:30-5 and 6:30-7. We will not have those time periods available for the Bounce House if we can’t get those time slots covered. That means it will be deflated during that time.

Thanks once again to Jessica Brewer stepping up to help with the bounce house for the Block Party this Saturday, October 3. ❤️ But we have 2 other hours where it is not covered: 4-5 pm and 6-7 pm. If we don’t have volunteers for those hours, the bounce house will not be inflated. If anyone can help, we would appreciate it. All we need is one volunteer per each half hour. Thank you.

Update on this Saturday’s rescheduled Block Party: everything is the same as far as events go, except for the face painter and balloon artists. They will be there from 4:30-7 pm now. Sorry for the inconvenience. 🥹

-party runs from 4-7 pm
-kids’ fishing derby from 5-6 pm
-raffle for gift cards at 5:30 (must be present to win)
-there will be a Kids’ Toy Swap Meet table this year
-we are hoping the Bounce House will be up and running from 4-7, but that will depend on whether we get enough volunteers.

Hey everyone! Here we go again, let’s try this once more and hope for better weather this Saturday, October 3.

Here is the link for volunteering to help watch the kids for the Bounce House. We need at least one volunteer per shift (30 minutes) or we won’t be able to set it up. We need to make sure they take their shoes off, they don’t take food in or get too rowdy, and in general just keep an eye out. Please consider volunteering, as this is one of the biggest draws for this event. 😊 Thank you.

Folks…due to the weather forecast and uncertainty today, we are postponing the Block Party to next Saturday, October 3, same hours. We are so sorry for any inconvenience, but everyone’s safety is more important.

Reminders about the Block Party tomorrow: please keep an eye out on the weather. We are still planning on having the party tomorrow, unless weather starts looking like it’s going to rain. So please check back here if it starts raining to get the latest update. If it does rain, we will hold the party next Saturday, October 3.

Other reminders:
-party runs from 4-7 pm

-we have enough volunteers for one hour of the Bounce House (4-5 pm), after that, we can’t guarantee it will be up and running, as we haven’t had enough volunteers for the entire 3 hours at this point
