Our thoughts are with the McCaysville community and everyone across the Copper Basin affected by this weekend's devastating flooding.

This photo of one of our Blue Ridge Mountains Parade of Homes signs in McCaysville is a reminder that behind every town, every local business, and every landmark are the people who make our mountain communities so special.

We are grateful for the first responders, public works crews, volunteers, business owners, and neighbors who have stepped up to help one another during this difficult time. Your resilience and willingness to serve your community are truly inspiring.

As recovery efforts continue, we encourage everyone to support local businesses as they reopen and to keep the families and businesses affected in your thoughts.

McCaysville is an important part of our mountain community, and we look forward to seeing it recover, rebuild, and welcome visitors once again.
