The Blue Ridge Writers' Conference is fast approaching. All the literary goodness begins on April 8th with the Workshop Intensive (Registration for Intensive is full) and the Meet & Greet on Friday, April 8th beginning at 5pm ( in conjunction with two opening receptions for artist M. Camille Day and photographer Mike Ramy.) All are welcome and encouraged to come!

On April 9th, the Writers' Conference begins. We have wonderful speakers lined up this year including our Keynote Speaker, Julie Gwinn. Julie is Vice-President and Agent for The Seymour Agency and was awarded Editor of the Year and Agent of the Year finalist by the American Christian Fiction Writers. She also has more than 25 years of public relations and marketing experience with several organizations. We are looking forward to her keynote presentation, "How to Write a New York Times Bestseller" and her conference session, "How to Build Your Brand."

We are excited about our 2022 Blue Ridge Writers' Conference coming April 8th & 9th. We have an amazing lineup of talented authors and speakers. Julie Gwinn has a background in editorial, launching the Pure Enjoyment line at B&H Publishing Group where she served as Fiction Publisher and was awarded Editor of the Year and Agent of the Year finalist by the American Christian Fiction Writers.

Julie also has more than 25 years of public relations and marketing experience and has worked in marketing for several Nashville nonprofit organizations, including the Tennessee Association for the Education of Young Children, the Nashville Area Red Cross, and the YWCA. She puts that marketing expertise to use in working with her authors.

Julie is actively looking for diverse voices in both fiction and non-fiction and is currently looking for romance, mystery/true crime, historical and speculative/fantasy novels. In non-fiction she is looking for self-help, lifestyle, motivational and sports related books.

The Virtual Blue Ridge Writers’ Conference mission is to educate, inform and inspire writers. In 2021, we are proud to host award-winning author Melissa Fay Greene as our keynote speaker alongside several other talented authors for two days full of literary knowledge. Throughout the conference, writers will network with fellow writers, expand their knowledge base and learn to hone their skills in various breakout sessions. The 24th Annual Conference begins with a Workshop Intensive held on Friday, April 9th from 10:30am-2:30pm. Writers’ Conference sessions begin at 9am on Saturday, April 10th. This event is proudly sponsored by Georgia Council for the Arts Vibrant Communities grant and Fannin County Chamber of Commerce & CVB.
