Blue Lake Playgroup will be taking a break for the next few months. We truly appreciate all the fun, laughter, and special moments we’ve shared with you over the past few years. Thank you for being such an amazing community!

After being stuck inside with rain for days, we decided that we should soak up the sunshine before the rain comes back….so today for our last playgroup of the year, we will be playing at the playground! Hello Blue Lake families, it’s Liesl your neighborhood playgroup leader! This Wednesday I will be facilitating my last playgroup in Blue Lake before leaving Humboldt next month. I keep thinking about how grateful I am for the families who welcomed me and my children so openly and trusted me with their time, their stories, and their little ones.

Getting to know this community has been a true gift. The connections built here—between caregivers, children, and one another—are meaningful and real, and leaving them is not easy. There is a sadness in saying goodbye to a place and people who have shaped us, supported us, and made this work so rewarding.

Thank you to every family who showed up, participated, and shared pieces of your lives with us. 💙
