Blue Jay Jazz Foundation had a very successful jump into the icy waters of Lake Arrowhead as part of the PolaRotary Bear Plunge on Feb. 7, 2026. Jumpers earned $3,145 to help support local jazz scholarships and the Blue Jay Jazz Festival.

PolaRotary Plunge

Every brave jumper is helping raise funds for the Lake Arrowhead Rotary Foundation, as well as their own charity of choice. Whether it’s supporting local education, health programs, or global humanitarian efforts, each splash sends ripples far beyond the icy shoreline. It’s cold, it’s crazy — and it’s for causes worth every shiver.

Join the Blue Jay Jazz Foundation at the 17th Annual Lake Arrowhead PolaRotary Bear Plunge and help make a difference — one chilly jump at a time!

Whether you take the plunge yourself or donate to a jumper’s team, your support goes twice as far. Funds raised are split 50/50 between the Lake Arrowhead Rotary Foundation — supporting vital local and global projects — and the jumper’s chosen charity, up to the first $1,000 raised...after that $1,000 threshold, 100% of additional donations go directly to the jumper’s charity of choice — maximizing the impact of your generosity.

So whether you're diving in or cheering from dry land, your contribution supports both the incredible work of Rotary and the causes that matter most to our community and help the Blue Jay Jazz Foundation.

Blue Jay Jazz Foundation at the Blue Jay Parade on Dec 6. Everyone enjoyed the music. Gavin Bialecki's lovely Alfa Romaro convertible, Larry Zamora, Jimmy Foster held the banner and Destiny Love on vocals.

Ara Tokatlian took the stage again at the 2025 Blue Jay Jazz Festival this time seating in with Ms. Monet & Friends George Whitty, Michael O'Neill, Andre Berry and Joel Taylor...for a superb addition to an already spectacular opening night on August 21, 2025.
