💙 The 3rd Annual Blue Cap Games | August 27, 2026 💙
Memories were made at Mt. Greenwood Park!
From friendly races, golf, bocce ball, and wheelchair basketball to karaoke, dancing, cheeseburgers, and plenty of laughter, these Games encouraged the people we serve to try new things, step outside their comfort zones, have fun, while feeling supported and celebrated!
Blue Cap Special Recreation Therapist Jenay Harrington shared:
“The Blue Cap Games are about more than just games and competition to me, it’s about the happiness it brings to the individuals we serve.”
Blue Cap Board Vice Chairperson Maurice Harris reflected:
“Any leader will tell you that every now and then, life puts us in a position to show up for others because they need us. What we eventually find out is that we were the ones who really needed them.”
