Tuesday needs at The Third Place: MEN’S UNDERWEAR, DEODORANT, SLEEPING BAGS, TENTS, AND SUGAR.

You know, just your average shopping list. 😂🛒

Running a drop-in center means our needs can be a little… random. One minute we need sugar for the coffee, the next we need underwear, deodorant, or something to help someone stay warm and sheltered outside.

But behind every random request is a REAL need. 💙

Men’s underwear means dignity. Deodorant means feeling fresh and confident. Sleeping bags and tents can make a difference when someone has nowhere safe to sleep. And sugar? Well, we serve A LOT of coffee, and keeping that coffee station running is practically a full-time job! ☕😂

So, if you’re cleaning out your donation stash or making a trip to the store, please consider picking up one of these items for our guests. Every little thing helps us keep The Third Place running and our community cared for.

Our donations hours at The Third Place:
Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM.

QCAWC is proud to be partnering with Pets for the Elderly ! Seniors, 60 years old and older, can adopt an adult dog or an adult cat for a reduced adoption fee.

Meet Gravy!

This beautiful girl is looking for her forever home.

Gravy is an absolute sweetheart with so much love to give. She's affectionate, loving, and once she feels comfortable with you, she will happily remind you just how wonderful it is to be loved by a cat.

Gravy would do well with another friendly cat in the home and would probably enjoy a feline companion. She just isn't a girl who wants to be part of a big cat crew... a quieter home with one or maybe two feline friends would be much more her speed.

She has the sweetest little personality and deserves a home where she can settle in, feel safe, and be completely adored for the rest of her life. She also knows her name and will come running when called. She loves cat trees, scratchers, wand toys and laser pointers.

Gravy is 3 years old, spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines including FeLV. She is also FIV/FeLV/heartworm negative.

If you think Gravy might be the missing piece in your family, please consider giving this sweet girl a chance.

Born 7/6/2026, Sparky is a sweet little boy who is still learning that people can be pretty wonderful. 🐾💕

Sparky can be very shy, and he’ll need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. He may not be the kind of kitten who runs right up to you, but with love, patience, and a little encouragement, he deserves the chance to blossom into the confident kitty we know he can be. ❤️

🐱 Sparky would do best in a home with another **confident cat or kitten** who can show him the ropes and help him feel safe.

Sparky is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV, FeLV, and heartworms.
