Calling all earthlings (and visitors from beyond)! 👽
Saturday, October 10 | 6:30 - 9:00 PM

Our next Star Party is going extraterrestrial! Come dressed as your favorite alien, or bring a picture of one to share. Classic little green visitors, sci-fi favorites, or a creature from your own imagination are all welcome. Get creative and join the fun!

Astronomer and College of Southern Nevada professor Matthias Schmitt will explore UFOs, alien claims, Hollywood's take on life beyond Earth, and the Drake Equation, plus how astronomers separate extraordinary evidence from misleading arguments. Afterward, stick around for stargazing, a constellation tour, and telescope viewing.
