Best wishes for a successful Special Olympics Pennsylvania Summer Games to all athletes as they leave tomorrow morning for three days of competition at Penn State. And thank you coaches for taking time off to take our wonderful crew: three basketball programs (AMBUCS/Titans/Mayhem), the swimmers and the Wicked Fast track team!

We thank the many volunteers who made our AMBUCS/ Montgomery County Special Olympics, Pennsylvania Track and Field Invitational a huge success! Hosted by our Wicked Fast track team, 170 athletes from Bucks, Special Olympics of Chester County, Special Olympics Lancaster PA, Lebanon County Special Olympics, Lehigh/Greater Lehigh Valley Pocono Region (GLVPR), Monroe County Special Olympics Pennsylvania, Special Olympics PA- Schuylkill County/Schuylkill Heart and Soles, and Special Olympics Pennsylvania York County joined our team competing in multiple running, field and relay events. Mingling with athletes were volunteers who helped make the day a success! Many of the competitors have qualified for the Special Olympics Pennsylvania Summer Games at Penn State next month. The races on Saturday helped them with a late season tune-up and provided an end of season chance to excel for the other athletes.
Thank you to Conshohocken AMBUCS for co-sponsoring the meet, the Springfield Rotary for providing lunch and to the Whitemarsh Township Police Department for visiting and presenting awards along with K-9 Anna!
