Dear Troop 98 Scouts, Leaders, Parents and Friends,
Last night I had the honor and privilege of presenting Adam Kiefski for his Eagle Scout Board of Review.
The Board members discussed Adam’s thoughts on why he wanted to become an Eagle Scout and his view on Scout Spirit and Scout Law. Adam spoke with confidence how he has developed these experiences into a strong mindset of “be yourself, who you are, and who you want to be.” He also discussed his leadership both in and out of Scouting. First as a Quartermaster and also as the Troop’s Stuff Sack. These positions helped him to learn to collaborate with others and incorporate organizational skills and planning; which he utilizes in his daily activities.
Adam shared details about his Eagle Scout Service Project completed at St. John Lutheran Church. And how he applied his leadership skills through listening to others, as well as guiding his volunteers on assignments. Did you know that Adam wants to become a mechanical engineer, is an avid storyteller which is why he enjoys Dungeons and Dragons?
The Board members unanimously agreed to recommend Adam for the rank of Eagle Scout, and will submit his application to National BSA for approval.
Adam becomes the 116th Eagle Scout from Troop 98 on this impressive list.
Thanks to everyone who helped Adam reach this milestone, and please join me in congratulating him and his parents
