Today was our first Drew Brown Bag Lunch Initiative event at our new HQ in . Thanks to our volunteers, we prepared 2000 bag lunches to be delivered tomorrow to our partner organizations: VA, PATH and Welcome House.

We’re incredibly grateful to celebrate a major milestone—thanks to the generosity of some amazing donors, we’ve officially cut the ribbon on our very first brick-and-mortar home in Blue Ash!

We were proud to unveil a special donor recognition plaque with engraved bricks honoring those who made this dream possible.

A special thank you to Mayor Jill Cole and Councilman Jim Friend —we were honored to have you celebrate with us. And thank you to everyone who continues to believe in the important work of our initiatives.

This space is more than just a building—it’s a foundation for the work ahead and new opportunities to make an even greater impact in our community.

We’re excited for what comes next!

We'd also like to thank Wise Temple for donating the space for us as our headquarters is bring built.

Unique Student Loan Repayment Grant for Men

Avon-Miami Lodge #542, a local Freemason lodge, has announced its new $1000 grant to help men in Hamilton County, Ohio to get debt free. One male, aged 19 years old or above, will be awarded this money to pay on their student loans from any higher education program. In partnership with Avon Miami Charities, the freemason lodge wants to help men in the local area become debt free.

Hamilton County male residents can apply for this one-time $1000 grant to be paid to their student loan. Whether it is for a university or certification program, the winner can use this grant (paid directly to loan company) to jump start or finish paying off their degree/certificate. As a fraternal organization, Avon-Miami Lodge #542 is always striving to make good men better. And becoming debt free can better the lives of the winner and his family.

Applicants will need to show how they have been working hard to pay off their student loans, show proof of employment for longer than 6 months, and proof of degree/certification completion. Applicants will be required to provide 3 referral letters, a written essay and participate in an interview (in person or online). Application deadline is December 31st.

Avon-Miami Lodge #542 and their partner charity, Avon Miami Charities, will make decisions made by the end of March and award presented by the end of June. Awardees will be invited to the Avon-Miami Lodge #542 Awards event to accept the award.

Avon-Miami Lodge #542 is a proud supporter and partner with Avon Miami Charities, which helps our local communities in many ways. This scholarship opportunity is just one avenue to better our community. The members of Avon-Miami Lodge #542 are excited to present this award annually, for many years to come.

Spice Spice Baby Cincinnati has challenged any small business to beat their $500 donation to Avon Miami Charities (building fund) Will your business beat it and challenge another small business to beat your donation?!

Our building fund allows our small organization to have a headquarters in City of Blue Ash, Ohio - Government. This HQ will serve as a place for us to prepare bag lunches for local shelters, hold fundraisers and give other smaller charities a meeting space.
