Today, we pause to remember October 7.

We remember the lives taken.
We mourn with the families whose loved ones were murdered.
We hold close those forever changed by the violence and terror of that day.
We remember those who were taken hostage and the anguish endured by them and their families.

As a Jewish community, we carry these memories with us. We honor those we lost by remembering their lives, speaking their names, and holding one another close.

May the memories of those who were taken from us be for a blessing.

May those who continue to grieve find comfort and strength.

And may we continue to pray and work for a future of safety, healing, and peace for all who call the region home.

We mourn.
We remember.

Join us at Temple Sholom as the Cincinnati String Project opens its season with an unforgettable evening of chamber music!

Experience Schubert's Death and the Maiden, one of the cornerstones of string quartet literature. Written as Schubert faced his own mortality, this extraordinary work takes listeners on a powerful journey through turmoil, defiance, beauty, and acceptance. The program will also feature works by their friends, the Danish String Quartet.
