π NATIONAL PREVENTION WEEK 2026 π
π
May 10β16, 2026
This week, the Cincinnati for H.O.P.E. Coalition joins communities across the nation in recognizing National Prevention Week, a time dedicated to raising awareness about substance use prevention and promoting mental, emotional, and physical well-being for all.
Prevention works.
When communities come together to educate, support, and empower youth and families, we create healthier futures and stronger neighborhoods. Through education, mentorship, early intervention, positive activities, and community partnerships, we can help prevent substance misuse before it starts.
This year, we celebrate the countless parents, educators, prevention professionals, healthcare workers, faith leaders, youth advocates, and community members working every day to make a difference. π
At the Cincinnati for H.O.P.E. Coalition, we remain committed to:
β
Preventing youth substance use
β
Promoting positive mental health and wellness
β
Empowering youth through education and leadership
β
Building safer and healthier communities together
π¬ βPrevention is not just about stopping problems, itβs about creating opportunities for healthy, successful, and thriving lives.β
Join us this week as we continue spreading awareness, hope, and healing throughout our community!
