Today we celebrate one of the most elegant, athletic, and unmistakable breeds in the horse world — the Hackney! ✨

From their high-stepping action and beautiful presence to their incredible versatility and show-ring charisma, Hackneys have a special way of capturing everyone’s attention. Whether they’re competing in the ring, driving down the road, or simply being admired in the barn, these horses are truly something special. ❤️

Today, the Southeastern Hackney Horse Association celebrates everyone who dedicate themselves to this wonderful breed and help keep the Hackney tradition thriving.

Megan LOVES her Hackney ponies—and thankfully, she loves us too…although we’re pretty sure we rank somewhere below the ponies, the ribbons, the harnesses, and possibly a really good victory pass! 😂🐴

Megan, your dedication, kindness, friendship, and willingness to keep the rest of us organized mean more than you know. You bring so much heart to our association, and we are incredibly lucky to have you as part of our Southeastern Hackney family.
