Just Saved By Love is a small act of kindness hoping to help grieving mothers after child loss.

Sunday, May 3, is Bereaved Mother's Day, and it's a day I didn't know about until I became a bereaved mother. So many women feel alone in the days leading up to and the arrival of Mother's Day because their motherhood stories tell of grief and heartache-realities that are often overlooked. This is for those women, those mothers. Your stories matter, your motherhood matters, your grief matters, your child matters.

Don’t forget about Bereaved Mother’s Day coming up on May 3rd.

Before all the Mother’s Day posts, flowers, and celebrations…
please remember the women carrying grief too.

The mothers with empty arms.
The mothers missing babies they never got to keep.
The mothers whose motherhood still matters, even if their child is no longer here.

Make sure somebody in your life knows you care.

Send the text.
Say their baby’s name.
Drop off the flowers.
Acknowledge their motherhood.
Let them know they are not forgotten.

Small gestures mean more than people realize when someone is carrying that kind of loss.

Bereaved mothers do not need to be overlooked again this year.
They need to be seen, loved, and remembered. 🤍

March is pregnancy after loss awareness month.

Sadly, more women have experienced loss than others who have not.

In the United States..

•1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage

•1 in 50 pregnancies is an ectopic pregnancy

•1 in 173 pregnancies end in stillbirth

•1 in 185 infants die before their first birthday

This month is dedicated to bring awareness as well as compassion to those who’ve experienced this kind of tragedy 🤍

There’s still a baby of mine I’m not picking out a costume for this year.

The stores are full of tiny pumpkins and fuzzy little animal suits, and part of me still aches when I walk past them.

Because there should’ve been one more.
One more outfit laid out on the bed.
One more photo taken on the porch.
One more little laugh echoing through the night.

So if you see me smiling while I pass out candy or dressing up my other babies, just know I’m also holding space for the one I can’t.

Because no matter how much time goes by…
there’s still a baby of mine I’ll never stop missing.

after loss, you start seeing the world differently.

clouds don't just look like clouds anymore, they look like messages. birds stop feeling random. butterflies linger too long to be coincidence. and rainbows, they hit different. they feel like a bridge, a whisper from heaven saying, "I'm still here."

you start catching signs in the smallest things, a song, a smell, a breeze that feels familiar. and for a second, you get that comfort you've been aching for. because deep down, you know they're still finding ways to reach you.
