Let’s Go!!! CalCo Travel is heading to the Atlanta Braves baseball game on Friday, June 5, 2026. Load bus at 7:45 AM CT, travel to the hotel for check-in. Then be ready to load the bus at 4:45 PM for dinner at “Golden Corral.” After dinner, load the bus to head to Truist Park (Braves Stadium) for the game. The Braves vs Pittsburgh Pirates. Beginning at 7:20 PM.
We will have excellent seats again this year, seats will be close to the field! Enjoy Friday night fireworks, then return to the hotel for the evening. Next morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel – then visit the Illuminarium at 10:00 AM. The Illuminarium is a ‘state-of-the-art virtual reality attraction’ which we think everyone will enjoy! Load the bus at 11:30 AM and depart Atlanta for home. We will stop in Newnan, Georgia for a lunch stop (on your own). Should arrive in Blountstown around 5:00 PM CT.

August 14 - 17, 2026

Get ready for a “foot-stomping” good time in Hiawassee, Georgia where you will enjoy seeing the old time ways and exhibits, cloggers of all ages, arts & crafts, a parade featuring antique cars, horses and buggies, floats and marching bands. Have lunch at the Smith House in Dahlonega, Georgia – “Family dining at its finest!” Check into the Ramada Lake Chatuge Lodge , then enjoy the concert on Friday night featuring Peter Noone - Herman’s Hermits. Just to experience this hotel overlooking the mountains is a joy!

On Saturday, visit Helen, Georgia where you will get to tour the Bavarian style buildings and feel like you are in ‘downtown’ Germany! Before dropping you off we will visit Anna Ruby Falls, if you are able to walk a mile up to the Falls. It is a breath taking site to see. If you do not feel like you can make the walk then you will be dropped off in Helen. Enjoy lunch (on your own). This evening, enjoy an early dinner at the Hawg Wild BBQ & Catfish House. After dinner, group will travel to the fair for a concert. After the show, walk back to the hotel or ride the bus.

On Sunday, we’ll head back to the fairgrounds for a morning service beginning at 11:00AM followed by Gospel Music featuring guests such as: The Troy Burns Family and other old time favorites! After the concert, travel to Dillard, Georgia to eat at the Dillard House. Load the bus after dinner for the trip back to the hotel. Have a restful night. On Monday, depart for home with many fond memories of the fair!!!
