This would be a great spot for a LIVE weather camera to show what Calhoun County has to offer in our small county and to show off our little airport to the world.

We were honored to welcome Panhandle Weather Weatherman Chris Smith to our little airport today. We had a great visit discussing the possibility of installing a weather camera at our airport that would provide real-time weather views and livestreaming capabilities for the community and surrounding area. We're excited about the opportunities this partnership could bring and look forward to exploring what lies ahead. Stay tuned as we continue working to make F95 an even better resource for pilots, weather enthusiasts, and our local community !!!

At 1:10 am this morning we got paged to a out of control grass fire at SR 69 and CR 286 intersection. We got on scene and requested to have Altha VFD and Magnolia VFD enroute also due to the size of the fire. After talking to witnesses at the scene and a West Florida Electric crew member it was determined the fire was caused by a down power line. Due to the field being just plowed for a crop and extremely wet we had to use hand tools to extinguish the fire. We would like to say thank you to Altha and Magnolia for all the help. The following units were on scene of the fire - Altha VFD, Magnolia VFD, Nettle Ridge VFD, West Florida Electric.
