The woman’s center is offering support (and raising awareness) for sexual assault victims through the Chalk the Walk activity. This lasts all month!

Although we cannot clean everyday, we can do our best to keep the sidewalks as clean as possible.

Most businesses are participating, they have chalk and instructions inside. Caulk is fun for all ages. Show your support and have fun!

If they could have opened we all would have bought a meal in that first week. Why not give what you would have spent so that we can get this restaurant in Bloomsburg?

There is a lot of trash in the lagoon. I can’t get back down there for a few days. If anyone could pick it up that would be great! You will need to bring a rake or something to reach into the lagoon.

Our first clean up day was a success! We had drinks and then when the rain was just a drizzle will cleaned up Main Street. Thanks to everyone who came out despite the bad weather.

REMINDER

Our first clean up day is this Saturday at 10am. We will meet at Fog and Flame. Our group is still named Libations and Litter so anyone is welcome the stop by Brewskis before we head out to clean up Bloomsburg!

Today I cleaned up at the airport boat dock and the boat dock by Streater Field with a member of this group. It was a spur of the moment thing so there was no time to post here.

There was a lot of broken glass. We also removed two illegal fire rings.

If anyone wants to clean up and you would like company, please post here. You could meet a new friend :)
